Undergraduate:
1. The only department which combines two popular professions, finance and international business. The member of The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) and International Association of Jesuit Business Schools(IAJBS).
2. The curriculum attracts the foreign students, China students, double major students, transfer major students and exchange students who are able to balance schoolwork and extracurricular activities and have international mobile force. The students have diverse backgrounds and have great English proficiency.
3. In addition to the high-end, experienced professors giving lessons, we sign cooperative education contracts with many banks, insurance agents, investment trust and consulting securities, leasing and business cooperation. Business mentors entered the campus, not only letting students participate in the industry's implementation, but also getting effective solutions including operational plans, enterprise diagnosis, marketing strategy, program trading and commodity design through collaborative teaching, visiting, internships, competitions, overseas study, project implementation, industry cooperation and summer internships. Therefore, students are not just passive learners but contributors.
4. Department of Finance and International Business holds the educational concept of “knowledge-action integration, value creation, knowledge innovation”. What’s more, there are “Finance Lab” and “International Corporate Laboratories" two student organizations in the department. Students are able to broaden their horizons and cultivate the ability of independent learning by organizing various exchanges and learning activities.
Master of Science in Finance: Laying emphasis on financial theory research and international financial management, while focusing on cultivating international viewpoint and ethics.
Research direction: 1. Strengthening the research on digital finance, treasury marketing and financial management.2. Strengthening the research on domestic and international financial management.3. Focusing on enterprise risk management.
Master of Science in Finance (Evening and Weekend):To train students to become all-round managers with in-depth knowledge in finance, the curriculum comprises two divisions: Division of Basic Business Studies and Division of Finance. The curriculum design lays equal stress on both theory and practice, half obligatory course and half elective course. Cultivating students with basic knowledge in finance and providing students with diversified courses according to personal interests and talents. Further, the Institute offers courses such as Digital Finance, Financial Marketing and Big Data Analysis, aiming to grasp the pulse of the times and technology, strengthening students' future workplace competitiveness.
